BRONX, N.Y. —Orlando City desperately needed more depth on its roster last season.
The Lions' record and quite possibly their playoff chances suffered because the bench wasn't strong enough to carry the team when international call-ups and injuries limited its pool of potential starters.
This year, though, there's a different problem: so much depth at midfield it will be hard to decide who to start.
There's Kaká, two-time USL MVP Kevin Molino, Adrian Winter, Pedro Ribeiro, Italian star Antonio Nocerino, Darwin Cerén, Cristian Higuita, Servando Carrasco and Carlos Rivas — who all have started this season or were presumed starters before preseason injuries.
