HOUSTON – During Carlos Darwin Quintero’s introductory press conference at BBVA Stadium on Wednesday, the striker made it clear that he is ready to work hard and help the Houston Dynamo get back to playoffs.
Before coming to Major League Soccer, Quintero made his way through Mexico in the Liga MX playing with big names like Club América and Club Santos Laguna from 2009-2017, scoring more than 100 goals during his time in Mexico. He then moved to MLS, where he spent two seasons with Minnesota United FC and became a key player.
When Quintero was asked why he opted to stay in MLS, he said he was happy with what he has done in the league with Minnesota, but wasn’t satisfied because he has a lot more to give.
