+1.51 – Another frustrating night
Orlando City’s 1-0 loss to the Los Angeles Galaxy on Friday night was yet another game in which the scoreline betrayed Orlando’s performance. Opta had Orlando as 1.51 expected goals better than LA in the game, statistically their second-best performance of the season behind last Sunday’s demolition of FC Cincinnati. The more traditional statistics back this up as well, as Orlando out-shot the Galaxy 19-4, including 7-1 on target.
