Wallace just missed out on a spot on the front row for Sunday’s Daytona 500, finishing fourth out of 44 cars during qualifying Wednesday night.
Wallace turned a lap on the 2.5-mile oval at 189.577 mph and sat in the top spot in qualifying with more than half the drivers having completed their runs.
