MIAMI GARDENS — Miami Dolphins coach Brian Flores broke in the press conference room at the team’s new facility adjacent to game-day home Hard Rock Stadium on Tuesday morning, the day Dolphins players reported for training camp ahead of Wednesday’s first practice.
“Players reported today. We’re excited to get started,” Flores said. “It is like the first day back in school. Guys you haven’t seen in a few weeks, months. Guys are excited to see one another, check out the new facility again, kind of get acclimated.”
A large portion of the Day 1 conversation with the media dealt with league COVID-19 protocols and player vaccination.
