Brazil rolls to 7-1 win over Haiti, regains Copa momentum in Orlando

A win for Brazil was expected, and the five-time world champion delivered.

Midfielder Philippe Coutinho scored the country’s first two goals and the last for a hat trick that led the Seleção to a 7-1 victory over Haiti in Orlando’s final Copa América match Wednesday night at Camping World Stadium.

Brazil was up 3-0 at halftime, but coach Dunga said the large lead did not relax his players.

“We are relaxed now, after it is done,” Dunga said through a translator. “During the game, tension is at its peak. Football today, you cannot give any opportunity.
