The undefeated Freedom boys volleyball team puts its 10-0 record on the line as host of this weekend’s 16-team Orlando Classic tournament.
The Patriots are led by two juniors who both serve as setters and opposite hitters: Matthew McIntyre and Andre Aguilar.
Winter Park (8-0), the second Orlando area boys volleyball team that remains unbeaten, is a co-favorite. Like Freedom, the Wildcats have yet to lose a set, winning all of their best-of-five matches by 3-0 scores to date. Tournament matches will best two out of three sets.
Play begins Friday with matches at Freedom and Lake Nona.
