Cool, calm and collected Orlando Christian Prep senior shooting guard Omar Figueroa isn’t fretting about keeping the Warriors’ 21-game winning streak alive in this week’s Rotary Tip Off Classic boys basketball tournament.
He’s much more into the daily grind of what it takes to make the OCP program a perennial state championship contender.
“Personally, I think game by game,” Figueroa said after the Warriors opened their 2020-21 season with an 82-51 homecourt victory against Oviedo last week. “We want to win them all. But my mentality is one game at a time.”
