Perhaps it was some kind of sign Friday night when Leyton Nelson didn’t make it to the University of Florida’s annual Friday Night Lights camp.
It turned out he was unable to attend. Maybe the football gods were trying to tell him something, and just maybe, Nelson was listening.
The 6-foot-6, 282-pound Orlando Boone High offensive tackle made his college decision Thursday, choosing UCF over Florida.
