Bishop Moore, playing for the first time in three weeks, went on the road and dealt Brooksville Nature Coast its first loss of the season, 42-21, in a Class 5A football playoff game on Friday night.
Bishop Moore (5-2), the No. 11 team in the Sentinel Super 16 rankings, will travel again next week to face Lake Wales (4-1).
Bishop Moore’s Brayden Millyer threw a halfback pass touchdown to Marc Morrison to break a 7-7 tie. Heath Hedrick followed with a 40-yard TD run for a 22-7 Hornets lead against a team that came in with a 7-0 record.
