Bishop Moore finished in the top three of the Class 2A boys golf state tournament for the fifth consecutive year on Wednesday.
The Hornets shot rounds of 305 Tuesday and 309 Wednesday for a 614 total over 36 holes at Mission Inn’s El Campeon course. That was good for third place.
Plantation American Heritage and Ponte Vedra, the two teams that have dominated 2A golf in recent seasons, tied for first at 597 and went to a sudden death tiebreaker to decide the FHSAA championship.
The Sharks have won six of the eight 2A titles since golf was expanded from two classifications to three in 2013.
