Ahead of his anticipated U.S. men’s national team debut at Exploria Stadium on Sunday, Orlando City forward Benji Michel lost count of his ticket requests.
The Orlando native thinks the total tallied up to 50, maybe more — family members, old teammates, friends from middle and high school who lost touch years ago. Michel said he’ll prioritize family first, but he’s hoping to give out as many tickets as the national team will allow.
After all, it’s a picture-perfect moment for the Lions academy product — his first time wearing the national team crest on the home pitch where he’s played his entire professional career.
