The NBA G League will play out its 2021 season at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, with games set to begin in February.
The G League will follow in the footsteps of the NBA, which resumed its 2019-20 season in July at the Disney campus and eventually crowned a champion in October as the Lakers beat the Heat in the finals.
The Lakeland Magic, Orlando’s G-League affiliate, will be among the 18 teams taking part in the season. In addition to 17 G League teams, G League Ignite also will be participating. The Ignite is comprised of elite NBA draft-eligible players and coached by former NBA player and head coach Brian Shaw.
