Jeff Larentowicz, an Atlanta United mainstay since the team began play in 2017, will be back with the Five Stripes in 2020. Atlanta and Larentowicz have reached an agreement on a new contract, the team announced Thursday.
Terms and length of the deal were not disclosed. Larentowicz was a free agent after the 2019 season and could have chosen to sign with any Major League Soccer team.
“Jeff has played an important role for our team over the past three seasons and we’re pleased to have re-signed him,” Atlanta vice president and technical director Carlos Bocanegra said in a prepared statement.
