Major League Soccer side Atlanta United FC and USL Championship club Phoenix Rising FC reached an agreement on a transaction involving two players Tuesday.
Atlanta acquired Adam Jahn in a transfer from Phoenix and signed the forward to its roster for the 2020 season. As part of the deal, Atlanta is sending homegrown forward Lagos Kunga to Phoenix on-loan for the upcoming USL season.
Atlanta also paid Phoenix an undisclosed fee for Jahn. The move for Atlanta was announced just hours after the club had traded versatile winger Julian Gressel to D.C. United.
