The Miami Hurricanes were already making progress toward having one of their best recruiting classes at the cornerback position in recent history, and a development with one of their recruiting targets gave UM a chance of making it even better.
Five-star cornerback Jaheim Singletary out of Robert E. Lee High School (soon to be renamed Riverside High School) announced his decommitment from Ohio State on social media and re-opened his recruitment after pleading to the Buckeyes in January.
“First off, I would like to thank the entire Ohio State coaching staff for giving me an opportunity to be a part of the Buckeye family and believing in my talents,” Singletary wrote.
