Najee Harris may not be among the frequently cited candidates for the Heisman Trophy like teammates Mac Jones and DeVonta Smith, but he made the case he deserves to be part of the conversation Saturday night.
Harris delivered a dominant performance against Florida in the SEC Championship Game, scoring a record five touchdowns as the Crimson Tide earned their fifth conference title during the past seven years and locked up a spot in the College Football Playoff semifinals with a 52-46 win over the Gators.
The senior finished with 245 yards of total offense on the night, 141 of those yards were gained in the first half, earning him MVP honors for the game.
