Every year, several players from the Orlando Pride Academy make their way to colleges across the country on soccer scholarships. Many have become key parts of successful teams, including Brooke Bollinger, who won the 2018 national championship with Florida State. With the season having ended, let’s look at how potential future Pride players have fared this year.
Sarah Aikens (Sophomore, GK, Nova Southeastern University):
Played in seven games with two starts, recorded 182 minutes, conceded three goals for a 1.49 goals-against average, recorded four saves and one shutout.
Bri Austin (Sophomore, F, Villanova University):
Played in 17 games with 14 starts, recorded 489 minutes, took 46 shots with 21 on target, recorded eight goals and one assist.
