Zack Lassiter has been hired as Oregon State's deputy athletic director for external operations, the school announced Monday.
Lassiter previously worked under incoming OSU athletic director Todd Stansbury at Central Florida as senior associate athletic director for external operations. At OSU, his responsibilities will include providing strategic vision and leadership for the department's wide-ranging external units, including the management of the athletic brand, marketing, creation of multimedia content, ticket sales, Beaver Sports Properties, licensing, fan experience, social media strategies, media contracts and merchandise. He will also identify new revenue streams and enhance existing ones.
"Zack has a wealth of experience at the highest levels of intercollegiate athletics from ticket sales to brand development and management, and this background will be a tremendous benefit for Oregon State University," Stansbury said in a statement.
