CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State University has been selected to host the 2019 and 2020 NCAA Women's Basketball Regionals at the Moda Center in Portland.
The women's basketball regionals will add to Oregon State events in the Portland area, including the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, the Dam City Showcase, the Dam City Classic, baseball games and football practices.
"This a terrific opportunity for basketball fans to watch the very best student-athletes in the game," Scott Barnes, Oregon State Vice President/Director of Athletics, said. "The growing success of Coach (Scott) Rueck's program and the popularity of women's basketball in the Pacific Northwest will make this a first-class event and continue our goal to showcase Oregon State University in the Portland Metro area as well as the nation.
