SEATTLE – Highlighted by a win in the high jump from Ann Wingeleth, the Oregon State track & field team had a strong showing at the indoor season opener in Seattle during the UW Preview held at the Dempsey Indoor Center.
The Beavers had a great day individually setting 15 all-time marks in the Oregon State record books, which included the event win from Wingeleth. The redshirt junior missed on her first two attempts, but connected on the third for a personal best clear of 5-feet, 9.25-inches. Freshman Emma Nelson had a great showing in her first meet for the Beavers with an 8th place finish off a jump of 5-feet, 3-inches.
