SEATTLE – Highlighted by Ann Wingeleth's record-setting performance, the Oregon State track and field team wrapped up the first day of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships in Seattle at the Dempsey Indoor Center.
After the first day of events, the Beavers currently sit in 13th place with 10 team points. USC leads all women's teams with 31 points.
Wingeleth was the only entrant in the long jump for the Beavers, who held the No. 2 all-time spot at Oregon State entering Friday. Wingeleth achieved two jumps of 19-feet, 6-inches on her second and third attempts finishing in 5th place overall securing four team points for the Beavers.
