The Big Game: Christian McCaffery had a huge game, breaking records along the way. McCaffrey broke his own single-game rushing record at Stanford of 243 yards and the Big Game record of 226 yards set by Cal's Joe Igber in 2002 to help the Cardinal (8-3, 6-3 Pac-12) keep the coveted Axe with yet another win over their rival. The Cardinal won last year's game, 35-22, and have won six straight in the series. The Bear Raid still had it’s affect on Stanford though. On the first play from scrimmage for Cal, Webb hit Hansen on a slant for a 70 yard touchdown.
