CORVALLIS -- Oregon State (15-9, 6-7 Pac-12) has a major opportunity ahead Saturday when the Beavers play at No. 16 Oregon (20-6, 9-4) in a Civil War rematch.
OSU beat the Ducks when they met on Jan. 3 to open Pac-12 play, leading from the opening tip and cruising to a 70-57 win. That is the fewest points Oregon has scored in any game this season.
A victory in Eugene would give Oregon State only its second Civil War sweep since 1993 and also mark a signature road win that would bolster the team's NCAA Tournament hopes.
