Forward Victor Robbins has been dismissed from the Oregon State men's basketball team, head coach Wayne Tinkle told The Oregonian on Friday evening.
In February, Robbins was eight games into a 10-game suspension for violating athletic department policy when he was cited for DUI. The rest of the season he served an "extended suspension," which Tinkle said came with agreed-upon parameters that Robbins did not meet.
"Our No. 1 priority is making sure Victor finishes out the semester strong," Tinkle added. "We'll do whatever we can to make sure he finds the right school."
The 6-foot-7, 197-pound junior was enjoying a breakout campaign before getting suspended in January.
