A roll-call of standout work from the weekend’s Oregon state wrestling championships, because I'm not about to tell several top wrestlers their performances didn't make the cut:
— Hermiston’s Sam Colbray won a fourth consecutive state title and his team won its fourth straight team title. For him, that earns a yawn. For everyone else in the state, it's a huge achievement.
— A host of wrestlers won their third state titles, including David Douglas’ Osa Odighizuwa, Roseburg’s Layne Van Anrooy and Haydn Maley and Culver’s Marco Retano. Odighizuwa, the nation’s top-ranked heavyweight, joined Glencoe’s Nate Johnson with undefeated seasons.
