CORVALLIS - Two weeks ago after a victory to start Pac-12 play, Oregon State men's basketball coach Wayne Tinkle was adamant about why the Beavers needed to build depth.
"We've got to continue to get some contributions off the bench because we can't play the guys the minutes we've been playing if we're going to continue to play this style," he said. "If we've got to shorten the bench, then we're going to have to slow things down. I know that these guys don't want to play that way."
Despite the warning, Oregon State's top two scorers have continued logging heavy minutes.
