Oregon State Small Forward Tres Tinkle has been named to the watch list for the Julius Erving Award, which is handed out to the nation’s best Small Forward every year. Last year the award went to Mikal Bridges of Villanova.
Also on the initial watch list this year are Louis King of Oregon, Kris Wilkes of UCLA, Matisse Thybulle of Washington and Robert Franks Jr. of Washington State. The Pac-12 is well represented.
It’s hard to name a front runner from this far out, but Cam Reddish of Duke certainly looks like he fits the bill. Nassir Little of North Carolina is another player to keep an eye on.
