SEATTLE -- The Pac-12 women's basketball tournament has already been filled with upsets, with No. 10-seed California beating No. 7-seed Utah and second-seeded Arizona State to reach Saturday's semifinals and 11th-seeded Arizona topping No. 6-seed Oregon to move onto Friday's quarterfinal matchup against No. 3-seed UCLA.
Top seed Oregon State will aim to squash that trend Friday night when it opens tournament play against eighth-seeded USC.
The Beavers, of course, know what its like to be an upset victim, as No. 9-seed Colorado beat OSU in the quarterfinals last year when it entered the tournament as the regular-season champion.
