Oregon State has taken a major hit to its secondary heading into a matchup with one of the nation's top passing offenses.
The Beavers announced Tuesday that starting cornerbacks Xavier Crawford (shoulder) and Dwayne Williams (knee) are both out Saturday at Washington State. Both Crawford and Williams were injured last Saturday in a 48-14 loss against Minnesota.
"Losing your top two corners ... is that tough? Absolutely," coach Gary Andersen said. "But we did that last game."
Senior Kyle White and sophomore Jay Irvine played each cornerback spot as Crawford and Williams missed the second half against the Golden Gophers.
