The Oregonian began producing Oregon all-state teams in 1982, and the list of running back stars over the past 34 seasons is impressive. The past 10 years have produced some of the best all-time, including Aloha's Thomas Tyner and West Albany's Jake LaCoste.
Though there will be many disagreements about omissions to this list, here are what we believe are the state's most accomplished 20 high school running backs since 1982. We don't rank them 1 through 20; instead, they are grouped as top 10 and second 10.
