CORVALLIS, Ore. – Oregon State sophomore forward Tres Tinkle was named the Pac-12 Men's Basketball Player of the Week, Commissioner Larry Scott announced Monday.
Tinkle had two double-doubles, while averaging 23.0 points and 13.5 rebounds, to lead the Beavers to a 2-0 start to the season. He had 20 points and a career-high 15 rebounds in a season-opening win over Prairie View A&M (78-58) and followed that with a career-best 26 points and 12 boards against UTSA (72-64)
The Missoula, Mont., native also had career highs with 11 free throws, four assists and 38 minutes played against the Roadrunners.
