LAS VEGAS, Nev. – Three Oregon State wrestlers remained in contention for top-six places after Friday's opening day of the Cliff Keen Invitational at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Junior heavyweight and senior 149-pounder won their first two matches before losing and dropping to the consolation quarterfinals.
Sophomore 197-pounder lost his opening match, then won three in a row to advance to the consolation quarterfinals. They will resume action on Saturday morning.
Delgado faces Nick Barber of Eastern Michigan. Crawford meets Gage Hutchinson, also of EMU. Griego takes on Matt Williams of Cal State Bakersfield.
