CORVALLIS, Ore. – Stephen Thompson Jr. was one of 64 seniors selected to participate in the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament.
The 12-game tournament will be played Wednesday through Sunday at the Churchland High School Sports Complex in Portsmouth, Va., in front of representatives from every NBA team.
All 64 players from last year's Portsmouth Invitational Tournament are currently playing professionally either in the NBA, the G-League or overseas. The last two years 32 of the 128 players who participated have spent time on an NBA team during the regular season.
Thompson Jr. concluded his four-year Oregon State career as the program's all-time leader in 3-pointers (230), fourth in scoring (1,767) and tied for eight in steals (177).
