Thompson Jr. made 10 field goals, including two triples, and scored 21 of his 24 points in the second half. He added six rebounds, two assists and a steal.
Tinkle posted his sixth career double-double, and second this season, with 15 points and 10 rebounds. He also had four assists.
The Beavers (2-3) trailed by nine points in the first half but rallied back to take their first lead of the game with 16:26 to play on a Thompson Jr.
