Third-quarter surge propels No. 7 Oregon State to 76-52 win over USC

CORVALLIS -- A huge third quarter propelled Oregon State to its 13th consecutive victory, as the No. 7 Beavers rolled USC 76-52 Friday night at Gill Coliseum.

The victory keeps OSU (23-3, 14-1 Pac-12) in first place in the Pac-12 standings and sets up a huge contest Sunday night against No. 12 UCLA in the Beavers' final regular-season home game. The Bruins, who blew out OSU 71-51 on Jan. 4 while Beavers all-Pac-12 point guard Sydney Wiese was out with a broken hand, are the last opponent to beat OSU.

The Beavers outscored the Women of Troy 27-12 in the third quarter to quickly turn a 29-23 halftime lead into a 56-35 advantage.
