The World Indoor Track & Field Championships conclude at 12:40 p.m. at the Oregon Convention Center.
There are some good local story lines, with former University of Oregon star Matthew Centrowitz of the Portland-based Nike Oregon Project going for his first global gold medal in the 1,500 meters, and Ryan Hill and Mohammed Ahmed of the Portland-based Bowerman Track Club mixing it up with the some of the world's best distance runners in the 3,000 meters.
Paul Chelimo, who runs for the Army's World Class Athlete Program and trains on the Nike Campus, is also in the 3,000, and Chelimo has a killer kick.
