The Oregon State women’s basketball team made history Monday by defeating Baylor 60-57 to reach the first Final Four in program history.
Awaiting the Beavers in Indianapolis on Sunday is Connecticut, the tournament’s overall No. 1 seed that has won 119 of its last 120 game – all by double digits. The Huskies are going for their fourth consecutive national title and ESPN’s FiveThirtyEight site gave them an 84 percent chance of making the championship game even before the tournament started, assuring that an OSU win would mark one of the great upsets in sports history.
