Oregon State basketball has added a some immediate help for the 2020-2021 season with the commitment of JUCO guard Tariq Silver.
Silver, a 6’ 5”, 200 pound guard out of Clarksville, Tennessee, began his college career at Eastern Michigan, where he red-shirted during the 2017-2018 campaign and then averaged 3.3 points throughout the 2018-2019 season. Last year at Tallahassee, Silver saw action in 33 games, posting averages 12.1 points and 4.2 rebounds per contest, while shooting 49.3% from the field, 45.5% from behind the arc and 82.7% from the free-throw line. He helped the Eagles to a 27-6 overall record and a birth in the NJCAA National Tournament.
