The college football offseason is now peppered with a variety of "watch lists," and Oregon State's Sumner Houston is on the spring list for the Rimington Trophy given annually to the nation's best center.
Houston, who is one of 63 players on the list, flipped from the defensive line to center during spring practice and snapped the football for the first time since elementary school. The junior started 11 games and made 26 tackles on defense over his first two seasons.
Ohio State's Pat Elflein won the Rimington Trophy in 2016.
Other various watch lists will be released throughout the summer.
