SAN FRANCISCO - After defeating No. 3 Stanford over the weekend, Oregon State's sophomore Abby Schwartz and senior Kaillen Fried have been honored by the conference, as announced Monday afternoon.
Schwartz was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week while Fried garnered the Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Week award.
"I'm extremely happy for both Abby and Kaillen," said head coach Matt Kagan. "Although these are individual awards, these two are selfless human beings who put the team's success first. Kaillen made one of the best defensive plays I've seen in a long time and Abby finished her opportunity to help the team win.
