MADISON, Wis. – Nicole Schroeder won the individual title at the NCAA Division I Regionals on Wednesday and will advance to the NCAA Championships.
The Oregon State women's golf finished in eighth place, and just five strokes out of the top six, to narrowly miss out on advancing. The Beavers concluded the three-day, 54-hole tournament with a 4-over 289-285-294--868 at the par-72, 6,313-yard University Ridge Golf Course.
Duke won the team title with a 14-under 850, while Virginia (5-under 859), USC (2-under 862), Arizona State (1-under 863), Ohio State (1-under 863) and Northwestern (even-par 864) finished in the top six to earn a trip to the NCAA Championships.
