CORVALLIS — With a heavy downpour pounding the Reser Stadium turf, Oregon State turned to its rushing attack.
Again. And again. And again.
The Beavers ripped off 21 consecutive run plays to seize the lead and finish off a 34-24 Civil War come-from-behind victory, beating the Ducks for the first time since 2007.
OSU, which scored 20 consecutive points to clinch the win, closes the season with two consecutive victories to finish 4-8 and 3-6 in Pac-12 play. Oregon also finishes 4-8 and with questions about coach Mark Helfrich's status surrounding the program.
Ryan Nall, OSU's breakout star of last season's Civil War, put together quite the encore, finishing with 155 yards and four scores, including what turned out to be the game-winner and game-sealer.
