Ronnie Stacy Joins Men’s Basketball Program

CORVALLIS, Ore. Ronnie Stacy has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the Oregon State men’s basketball program for the 2016-17 season, head coach Wayne Tinkle announced Wednesday.

Stacy, a 6-foot-4, 195-pound point guard from Alexander City, Ala., played the past two seasons at Tyler Junior College in Texas.

“Ronnie is a prototypical point guard who always looks to pass first and get his teammates involved,” Tinkle said. “He knows how to run the offense, get the ball to the scorers and handle pressure.

“We think he has the ability to be a lockdown defender on the perimeter.
