Oregon State’s athletic director Todd Stansbury is leaving Corvallis to take the athletic director job at his alma mater, Georgia Tech.
Stansbury has been at Oregon State just over a year. And he will replace Mike Bobinski who left Georgia Tech to become the athletic director at Purdue. It’s understandable that Stansbury would be drawn to Georgia Tech. He played football their in the 80’s and was a football academic adviser their after his playing days were over. He then moved up to an assistant athletic director position.
While Todd Stansbury was at Oregon State all of the top head coaching positions were already filled.
