Report: Oregon State takes a stand on transfers, will ask Pac-12 to follow its lead

Oregon State's new transfer policy is aimed at transfer students with troubling conduct issues.

Oregon State will announce a strong new policy aimed at transfer students with troubling conduct issues on Monday, according to a report by The Oregonian.

The change would apply to all undergraduate and graduate students seeking to transfer to the university, including student athletes.

The policy requires that students seeking to transfer to Oregon State must disclose whether they are ineligible to re-enroll at a previous institution based on conduct reasons. If that student was ineligible to re-enroll due to conduct issues, they would automatically be declined admission to Oregon State.
