Both the Oregon State Beavers and Oregon Ducks are up against the clock, as the contact period gave way to the dead period at midnight Sunday and the mid-year signing period kicks off Wednesday.
With a new coach at the helm, the Oregon Ducks have a lot of work to do, but already landed a new commit, flipping Darrian McNeal from the Arizona Wildcats.
Oregon State's primary focus is to secure the pledges of several junior college targets, as the JC guys are able to sign starting Wednesday.
