OSU scored in the bottom of the fourth thanks to an RBI sac fly from Jake Dukart. Andy Armstrong later added one in the sixth with an RBI single that scored Troy Claunch.
The Beavers threatened to score several more times throughout the game, but were unsuccessful and stranded ten baserunners in total.
