A late-inning burst secured the win for Oregon State on Monday night. Not only did the Beavs get the win, they finished the night with 18 hits to San Diego’s eight on the way to a 23-6 win. San Diego also committed three errors in this game.
The 23 runs are the most that OSU has scored in a single game this season.
There was certainly no shortage of offense in this game and it all started right away. San Diego’s Brhet Bewley homered in the top of the first inning. OSU countered with a four-run frame in that same inning.
