The Beavers’ trip to Reno was definitely not short on excitement. Neither the Monday game or the Tuesday went OSU’s way, however. Nevada won on Monday 8-7 in 12 innings and 7-6 in 10 innings on Tuesday. Here’s how it went down.
Game 1
Oregon State outhit Nevada 13-12 while committing an unfortunate three errors compared to Nevada’s one.
OSU started off with a two-run home run from Joe Casey. Nevada quickly took the lead though, with an RBI double from Matt Clayton in the first and four runs in the second inning. The Beavs battled back in the third with RBIs from George Mendazona and Jake Dukart.
